Charter Transport Ltd was launched in 1984 as a privately owned Christchurch based company providing specialised transport solutions encompassing New Zealand. We believe our unique Industry experience and track record makes Charter an attractive Distribution Partner.



Company Background

Owners Mike & Kate Pauling purchased Charter Transport as of May 1 2008 after 5 years of Mike in a role of National Operations Manager for a New Zealand based courier business, Kate and Mike have 30 years experience within the Transport / Courier Industry, The Team at Charter have a vast amount of experience within the Local Cartage, Specialised Cartage i.e. Hiab, Skeletal, Courier - point to point, Rental Services, Driver / Vehicle dedicated to Customer fulltime and Nationwide Line Haul - In fact Dean Middleton the General Manager today started some 17 years ago with Charter as a driver and developed Charter and his skills to where Charter is positioned strongly today within the market place.

Charter Transport has a rigid Security Vetting Policy, All employee's where requested are subject to financial / criminal vetting with a complete driving history - All information is available for vault viewing subject to employee approval upon demand for customer requirements.
